I am a 67 yr old woman who had meniscal repairs done on both knees in ‘12 & ‘13. After several years of synovial injections, I decided it was time to try to enjoy my remaining years, pain free.
I had two robotically assisted, total knee replacements done by Dr D., using the Zimmer Personal IQ implants. My first knee was replaced on 4/6/23 and the other knee on 7/13/23. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the process & results of both surgeries. Although I may not be the typical patient, I was up walking with the cane that evening on the day of surgery, and within days, no cane at all. My second incision was not closed as neatly as the first (skin overlaps in both directions), but all-in-all it’s fine. I would definitely recommend Dr D and the Surgery Ctr. for knee replacement.

I had an anterior left hip replacement in May 2022 . My experience from my consultation to surgery to postoperative care has been above and beyond . I can't say enough about Dr Durbhakula his entire staff from the front desk to the medical assistants X-ray technicians scheduling staff were professional knowledgeable as well as empathic and friendly .
My hospital experience was the same with each medical personnel I encountered at the hospital .
I'm a very active healthy person , when I found out I needed hip surgery I was extremely anxious and very depressed .
Having Dr Durbhakula and his team my mind was put at ease . I am so happy to have my quality of life back that I hadn't had in years . I'm riding my bike with my grandchildren . I just went snorkeling in December and ready to play tennis with my grandson. This surgery and team changed my life .

Dr. S. Durbhakula is amazing! 4 months after replacing my right hip he replaced the left one. With both surgeries he took his time explaining what was involved and what to expect. Everything went exactly as planned. It’s been life changing. My only regret is not having the replacements done sooner. I can’t thank Dr. Durbhakula and his wonderful staff enough!

Dr. Durbhakula and his team at Suburban Hospital could not have been more competent, efficient, empathetic and knowledgeable for my recent hip replacement. I walked out the same day and began on stairs at home when I got there. I was able to stop pain meds in two days and I am steadily improving. I look forward to rehabbing and getting back to 100% with the hip so I can move on with this same team for a knee replacement in 6 months or so. Dr. Sri far Durbhakula did a terrific job replacing both of my knees. He even made the incisions slightly off center at my request so that I might be able to kneel again. It worked! I can kneel even on hard surfaces which is great for gardening and playing with my granddaughter. Being pain free is wonderful. Glad I did it and glad that the surgeries/ rehab are behind me. Dr. Durbhakula and his staff are fantastic! He was very focused on me and my care, answering all my questions and explaining the entire process. He replaced my left knee in June and 3 months later I have no pain and am back to my water aerobics and exercise bike. Now for the right knee!

Dr. Sridhar Durbhakula is a fabulous surgeon. He cam highly recommended from friends who have had to have their hips/knees replaced. Myhip replacement surgery went so well, I went home the same day, despite being given the choice to stay overnight in the hospital. The doctor and his staff made sure to check on me throughout the initial healing phase and followed up with appointments to ensure that everything was healing well. The surgery was life changing. No more constant pain and limited movement. I am doing everything I did before and doing it better than I have in years. The anterior approach meant I had no movement restrictions from the very beginning. This helped a great deal, as I didn’t have to worry about moving the wrong way and having a dislocation when I started recovering. I can’t say enough about how great Dr. Durbhakula is.
